Ready File Tools

Data Security and File Processing

How Ready File Tools handles the files you choose, what leaves your device, and what ordinary website services can still receive.

Updated: 25 September 2026

Your document contents stay in the browser

The current Ready File Tools PDF and image utilities process selected file contents inside your browser on your device. The document contents, images, signatures and OCR text are not sent to a conversion server for the tool operation.

Using a tool does not create an account-based or cloud document history. Download the result before closing or refreshing the page if you want to keep it.

Website connections are separate from file processing

The website itself is delivered through Cloudflare, so ordinary page requests can expose connection information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser information and security signals to the hosting provider. Advertising or consent services can also make their own network requests when enabled.

Those website connections are separate from the local file-processing workflow. Ready File Tools does not send the contents of the PDF or image you selected to Google advertising services.

No automatic cloud retention

The current tools do not keep a server-side copy of your selected documents or generated results. Temporary working data exists in the browser session and can be lost when the page is reloaded, closed or navigated away from.

What you should still protect

Keep original copies of important documents and review every generated result. Do not treat cropping as secure redaction, and do not assume flattening removes hidden information, metadata or every annotation. Each tool page explains the limits relevant to that operation.

If the architecture changes

If Ready File Tools introduces a feature that uploads document contents to a server in the future, the relevant tool page and privacy notice will be updated to explain that processing before the feature is used.
