Number the body after a cover

What to check in your download
Numbers are added over existing content; they do not replace old printed numbers. The sequence follows your selection order. With the total style, the denominator is the last number in the new sequence, which can differ from the full document page count.
If the result is not what you expected
If a number covers a footer, switch to the top. To change the order of the physical pages, use Extract pages first, download that result, and number the new file. Starting numbers must be whole numbers from 1 to 99,999.
