Choose the right editing mode
Use Add text to place a note on a page. Use Edit existing text for supported selectable words. For a photographed page, use Read a scan and review the recognized text before replacing anything. These modes solve different tasks: adding a text box does not automatically remove the original words underneath.

What to check in your download
Download and reopen the result, checking line breaks, Arabic shaping and nearby text. Replacement text uses the site font rather than reproducing every original font. A signature drawing is a visible mark, not a certificate-based digital signature.
If the result is not what you expected
If no editable block appears, the page may be a scan or use unsupported text encoding. Try OCR for a scan; otherwise edit the source document and export a new PDF. Do not use an overlay or visual text replacement as a guarantee of confidential-data removal.
Limits and what to review
Supports PDFs up to 25 MB and 50 pages. Text replacement uses the site font and saves the replacement as a graphic; complex layouts may differ from the original. Keep your original document.

Can I edit a scanned PDF?
Read a scan recognizes printed English and Arabic one page at a time. Review recognized text carefully. Replacing a scanned block rebuilds that page as an image.
Is a drawn signature a digital certificate?
No. The signature tool adds a visual signature graphic. It does not create a certificate-based digital signature.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
Files are processed within your browser session. Download results before closing the page; there is no cloud document history.
