- If your PDF contains completed form fields that should become fixed, use Flatten forms and review how each field appears in the result.
- Use PDF properties to change the document-level title, author, subject or keywords. This does not change text printed on the pages.
- Run File checker against the supported requirements for your destination. Open the final document yourself before submitting it.
Before you download the final copy
File checker is not an antivirus scanner and cannot guarantee that a website will accept a file. Clearing PDF properties does not remove all personal data. Flattening forms does not make a document tamper-proof.
