Are these tools free?
Yes. The 15 tools on this page work without a subscription or account. Each tool shows its supported formats and file limits.
Are my documents uploaded to a server?
Selected document files are processed in this browser session. They are not uploaded for processing, and there is no cloud file history. The site still loads its code and assets through ordinary web requests.
Can I edit text that is already in a PDF?
The PDF editor can replace supported selectable text. Replacement text uses the site font and is saved as a graphic. Some layouts or fonts cannot be reproduced exactly, so review the result.
What about scanned PDFs and signatures?
Use Read a scan in the PDF editor to recognize printed English or Arabic text. More tools includes signature and markup tools. Adding a signature graphic is different from creating a certificate-based digital signature.
What are the PDF file limits?
Use PDFs up to 25 MB each, with up to 50 pages per task. The merge tool accepts up to 20 PDFs and 50 MB combined. Large files may take longer on phones. The tool you choose shows the applicable limits.
How do I use more than one tool on the same file?
Download the result from the first tool, then choose that downloaded file in the next tool. Links marked ↗ open another workspace in a new tab so your current work stays available.
Can I convert PDF to Word or unlock protected files?
PDF-to-Word conversion and password unlocking are not included in this version. For a protected PDF you own, open it in its original application and export an unencrypted copy before using these tools.
Will my work still be here when I return?
Files and results stay in the current browser session. Closing or reloading the page can clear them. Download your result before leaving, and keep the original file.
